It's done

And it was a pain in the ass till the end. I still don't know if it was done properly. We shall see in 48 hours.

You get the first reason of why I hate myspace. The bullshit ads that must be clicked through. The reason you don't see it here is cause I am using the far superior Firefox browser with Ad Block Plus add on. I still have to click through the link "Skip this Advertisement" (Pure bullshit)

Here is where I click through to the "New Friend Request" bullshit. Wow these cam spam whores actually want to be my friends! No shit! wow!

Clicking the "Cancel Account" link.

They feel the need to warn me, OK, sure I find that reasonable.

Cancel My account. What? I have to give a reason?

WTF?! I have to confirm the confirmation? Thats fucked up.

So I log into Gmail: (funny as hell - they say in the email "We will cancel your account within 48 hours, after which you will no longer be able to log in." Well no fucking shit Sherlock! Who the fuck wrote this shit!?)

The Gmail links through to this page. I have to confirm again. YESSS Goddammit!

WTF!!!! 48 goddammed hours! Thats bullshit!

Circus 2008

Circus 2008, originally uploaded by Chris1051.

Daniella couldn't sit through the whole show (again)

Needless to say, I got some good pictures. If I could describe the circus 2008 in one word, it would be "Loud"

Loud as hell actually. With rude mofos showing up 30-40 minutes late, stumbling in the dark for their seats.

Parking = $5 (very reasonable -best bargain)
Price of admission (no children of any age discounted whatsoever) = $70
One program = $20
One bottle of lemonade = $9
One souvenir plastic tiger cup (only the cup nothing in it) = $12
One small rubber elephant = $15

Example of Evolution

I saw this over at Bad Astronomy.

I don't quite like the music pairing, so if this is the case with you, just mute your computer as the content can be absorbed without audio.

WTF is up with the Chinese?

This is truly sick.

The smiling children giggled as they patted the young goat on its head and tickled it behind the ears.

Some of the more boisterous ones tried to clamber onto the animal's back but were soon shaken off with a quick wiggle of its bottom.

It could have been a happy scene from a family zoo anywhere in the world but for what happened next.

A man hoisted up the goat and nonchalantly threw it over a wall into a pit full of hungry lions. The poor goat tried to run for its life, but it didn't stand a chance. The lions quickly surrounded it and started tearing at its flesh.

"Oohs" and "aahs" filled the air as the children watched the goat being ripped limb from limb. Some started to clap silently with a look of wonder in their eyes.

The scenes witnessed at Badaltearing Safari Park in China are rapidly becoming a normal day out for many Chinese families.

Main stream media is nowhere to be seen reporting (yet).

Please stop the bullshit

After some thinking, I have decided its best to end the bullshit that is myspace. I am tired of all the bullshit, really.

What bullshit you ask?

this bullshit (click to enlarge)

I heard about this via KDMurray.net who linked though to another blog. Its a good idea. I am really fed up with it. Myspace does indeed suck.

Hucka BS

Everyone should be scared of Huckabee.

link

"I have opponents in this race who do not want to change the Constitution," Huckabee told a Michigan audience on Monday. "But I believe it's a lot easier to change the Constitution than it would be to change the word of the living god. And that's what we need to do -- to amend the Constitution so it's in God's standards rather than try to change God's standards so it lines up with some contemporary view."

Yep you read that right. He wants to change the constitution and make it to better suit God - an imaginary -invisible supernatural mythological being.

We will be in a theocracy if he wins.

How about this little tidbit:

Link

"Be prepared, first, to put your sights on the American vessel. And then be prepared that the next thing you see will be the gates of Hell, because that is exactly what you will see after that,"
Someone vote this guy out already!

Noctilucent clouds

Noctilucent clouds are becoming more and more frequent in recent years. There is good evidence that these clouds were non existent pre-1885. Leading us to believe that they are anthropogenic.

Heard here.

Crop1

Crop1, originally uploaded by Chris1051.

(Description mirrored on flickr)

I left the office and saw this reflection I ran to the top of the parking garage. (Cause I knew a moment like this couldn't last more than a few minutes) It was the reflection of the clouds - that were reflecting the already set sun -filtered through the atmosphere a deep red. A once in a blue moon thing - how the reflections just got themselves right. And sure enough I was right, as soon as I started to try and capture it, it went away. This is a cropped one, and a longer exposure. (damned power lines)

Alabama man says he threw 4 kids off bridge: police

File this under "What the fucking fuck?!" As if Alabama had a good reputation to begin with.

Story

MOBILE, Alabama (Reuters) - An Alabama father confessed to throwing his four young children from a high-rise bridge into coastal waters after an argument with his wife, police said on Wednesday.

Lam Luong, 37, of Irvington, Alabama, was charged with four counts of murder and was being held in the Mobile County, Alabama, jail. He was scheduled for a bond hearing on Thursday.

Searchers in boats and helicopters were scouring 100 square miles of coastal Alabama waterways for the children, who ranged in age from four months to three years and were presumed dead.

Investigators said Luong first reported the children missing on Monday but later admitted he threw them from the 80-foot (24-metre) bridge connecting the Alabama mainland to Dauphin Island near Mobile following a dispute with his wife.

"We're doing an extensive search," said Sgt. Jerry Taylor of the Mobile County Sheriff's Department.

Seven law enforcement agencies, including the U.S. Coast Guard, joined the search, which resumed at daybreak on Wednesday after being called off Tuesday night due to rough water and fog.

Divers were also involved in the search for the bodies of the children, along with boats using sonar.

Police identified the children as 4-month-old Danny Luong; Lindsey Luong, 1; Hannah Luong, 2; and 3-year-old Ryan Phan.

Local media, citing a law enforcement official, said Phan was not Luong's biological child but the suspect had raised the boy from the time he was an infant.

Bad

Bad, originally uploaded by Chris1051.

I saw a commercial for coal the other day (yes you read that right) on CNN. It was so lame I had to look for the website and give it a thumbs down in SU. It reminded me of when I was in Cumberland City, TN and I drove past this incredible site. Its one of my favorite photos. It shows a clear blue sky - green grass, and to contrast, shit spewing in to the air.

We need to get away from this coal bullshit. So-called "Green" or "brown" coal. Call it what you will, but it is not the long term answer, and the theory is only a very small step above quackery.

Why would we burn this shit -which has a limited supply - when you have about a 4.5-5 Billion year supply above us?

This shit sickens me.

Why I believe in Evolution

This brochure should be placed along side every evangelical paper written on the subject of Evolution in schools. Its a long read, but if the creationists would just read and at least make some sort of understanding about this paper, we may well be on our way to advancing science in the classrooms around the country and quit talking about this unintelligent design garbage. The sad thing is, that the young earth creationists wont have any part of it, and will dismiss it as scientific "hocus pocus".

Tard

Click on the flickr link (the photo) for more photos and more story) The dumbass is the one in the grey civic. I get on the highway and this dumb ass starts riding my ass. I notice on the top of his windshield he had placed a decal that said "Move Over ------->" but it was in reverse, so that when he rode up someones ass (this morning it was mine) they would be able to read it in the rearview mirror.
I let him pass and then tailgated his dumbass. He got caught up in the traffic and was looking for a way out, and the ass maggot tried to haul ass on the shoulder to the exit. But there were 2 state troopers parked preventing him from doing so. He ends up reversing and almost hitting me (at this point we are all going about 3 mph.)

Stupid dumbfuck.
